As the new session is about to begin, I’m reintroducing key bills and proposing new legislation to address important issues, including the following:

• Addressing abandoned boats.
• Funding for local first responders.
• Allowing volunteer fire departments to fundraise through online raffles.
• Protecting sports officials.
• Creating a floor for the state inheritance tax.
• Supporting domestic violence victims and district attorneys with funding for related programs.

Last session, I was proud to have my legislation (H.B. 1409) signed into law helping the PA Fish and Boat Commission manage fees. As chair of the House Game and Fisheries Committee, I look forward to advancing these and other initiatives to benefit Pennsylvanians.

A wonderful evening in Kennedy Township for the renewed “light up” festivities—kudos to the Kennedy Garden Club, Parks and Recreation Board, and Township officials!

It was a pleasure welcoming the wonderful team from the Sto-Rox Family Center to the district office in Coraopolis.

I stopped by the Cookie Walk hosted by the Coraopolis United Methodist Church and VFW.

It was a beautiful night celebrating the holidays in Robinson Township.

My district office will be closed for in-person constituent services from Monday, Dec. 23 to Jan. 6 in observance of the holidays. During this time, staff will be working remotely and will check messages, emails, and mail. Thank you for your understanding, and happy holidays!
