Krueger to host Medicare 101 virtual workshop May 13

FOLSOM, April 29 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger will hold a virtual workshop, “Medicare 101,” at 1:30 p.m. May 13.

The workshop will be held over Zoom and is being presented with Delaware County Senior Community Services’ APPRISE program. An APPRISE counselor will offer information on the basics of Medicare and answer questions. The workshop will be geared toward individuals who are already enrolled in Medicare as well as those who will qualify soon.

“APPRISE counselors are trained to help community members understand Medicare, which can seem daunting. I’m happy to host this event to make Medicare a little easier to understand,” said Krueger, D-Delaware.
