Krueger presents $24,000 grant to Brookhaven Fire Co.

FOLSOM, Feb. 19 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger recently presented a $24,000 grant to the Brookhaven Fire Co.

The funding, which comes through the Department of Community and Economic Development, was awarded to help fund vehicle crash rescue tools.

“Supporting first responders is one of my highest priorities, and proper equipment is essential for them to respond to emergencies,” said Krueger, D-Delaware. “I’m proud to help ensure Brookhaven Fire Company has what it needs to serve our community, and I will continue to look for ways we can support fire and emergency organizations.”
