Free SEPTA Key Senior ID Card Event

You're invted to get your free SEPTA Key Senior ID card. This free service is available on all SEPTA transit services. And regional rail fares for seniors continue to be $1 for rides in Pennsylvania.

If you are unable to attend this event, please note that seniors can now use their PA driver’s license or state-issued ID card to ride free on SEPTA transit.

Pennsylvania residents, 65 years or older, who possess either form of stateissued photo ID, are automatically eligible to participate in SEPTA’s Seniors Ride Free Program. There is nothing to sign up for, and a valid (unexpired) driver’s license or state-issued ID can be swiped at the turnstile or onboard a vehicle.

If you can’t make the photo event, senior riders can register and still have their picture taken for the new, free SEPTA Key Senior ID card at SEPTA Headquarters at:

SEPTA Key Senior ID cards will be mailed at a future date.

Need a SEPTA Disability Key Card and under 65? Be sure to bring your Medicare card.
