Dear Neighbor,
Getting state resources and funding back to you and our community is one of my top priorities as your state representative.
I work hard to leverage my knowledge of state grant programs and funding opportunities that align with the goals and needs of local organizations and our local municipalities. Fostering these connections works to enhance community services, drive economic growth and address the challenges facing our communities.
I keep an updated list of these opportunities on my website. If your organization is looking for state funding, please review these listings regularly and contact my office for help and a letter of support.
Online Tool Also Now Available
|
The Shapiro administration also recently made finding and applying for state grant opportunities easier. The Commonwealth Office of Digital Experience has a new online tool to discover funding opportunities across state agencies. You can search grants by applicant type, category, deadline, and location and get insights from over 100 grant participants and 24 state agencies.
With billions in available funding through 300+ grant programs, this tool is a game-changer for organizations seeking financial support. Start here, and please contact my office if you have any questions.

Thank You for Your Generosity
|
My recent diaper and infant needs and Toys for Tots donation drives were great successes thanks to the generosity of so many neighbors across the district.
Last week Notre Dame de Lourdes School Principal Diana Pileggi brought a carload of generous donations from the collection efforts of their PreK 3, PreK 4, and Kindergarten classes to ensure the health and well-being of babies in need. Aston American Legion Post 926 Commander Sam Keeth also dropped off spectacular gifts for filling our Toys for Tots collection box!
I am so grateful for our community.

Delivering New U.S. and PA Flags in Chester Township
|
I recently presented Chief Coalson at the Chester Township Police Department with new flags. I also had the chance to see the building repairs made with the funding I helped to secure.
|
I also presented Council President Calvin Bernard with new flags for the Wilson Center and had the opportunity to admire their beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Brook Trout Delivered to Delco Anglers
|
The Delco Anglers have taught me so much about our local fishing enthusiasts and how it takes a village to keep our local creeks stocked with the trout that local anglers love to catch. I’m so grateful for the staff and volunteers who make sure that we get the Brook Trout that are so popular in Delco! Many thanks to the Huntsdale State Fish Hatchery for delivering “brookies” to the Delco Anglers Nursery. They will be released into Delco’s local streams next year – just in time for trout season.

Effective Monday, the income limit for this program increased to $29,906, so more retirees will qualify. You can learn more and download the application here.
Additionally, some veterans may now be eligible for free vehicle registration and titling fees.

SEPTA Senior Key Cards and Card Renewals
|
If you have a SEPTA Senior Key Card that has expired or will expire within the next month, we can renew it in our district office. To renew your card before it expires, please stop by my district office, or call us to make an appointment.
My office can also process applications and take photos for new SEPTA Senior Key ID Cards, which allow seniors 65 and older to travel for free on all SEPTA Regional Rail and transit routes within Pennsylvania. Just stop by my district office and bring a form of ID with your date of birth on it, such as a PA driver’s license or non-driver ID, U.S. passport, or birth certificate. We’ll enter your information into SEPTA’s online system, take a quick photo, and then SEPTA will mail your new card to you directly.
