My office can help with Property Tax/Rent Rebate and more

Dear Neighbor,

My office helps hundreds of senior citizens and others apply for Pennsylvania’s Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program each year. Have you applied for your rebate on property taxes or rent paid in 2023?

I fought to include more Pennsylvanians than ever before and it's paying off for more than a half a million seniors across the state. The state Department of Revenue has already received over 523,000 claims this year, almost 25% more than last year, including nearly 103,000 first-time applicants.

The deadline to apply for your Property Tax/Rent Rebate is Dec. 31 and is fast approaching.  Contact my office today to see if you qualify and for help applying! If you’ve already applied, you can use the Where's My Rebate? tool to check the status of your rebate.

UPCOMING MOBILE OFFICE HOURS

I offer mobile office hours to ensure that everyone in the district has access to the services my office provides. We look forward to seeing you!

DONATION DRIVES IN MY OFFICE

Toys for Tots Drive Now Through Dec. 13

In the spirit of giving and spreading holiday cheer, I invite you to join my office helping Toys for Tots provide children in need with a new toy this holiday season. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at my office, located at 115 Brookhaven Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through Dec. 13.

Diaper Drive Now Through Dec. 13

One in two U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry and healthy. Unfortunately, three in five parents miss work or school because they cannot afford the diapers required to leave their children in care while they work.

Now through Friday, Dec. 13, my office is collecting donations of new and unused packages of diapers, wipes and baby formula to support local organizations. Please help if you are able.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Festival of Lights Opens on Thursday, Dec. 5

The 49th annual Festival of Lights in Rose Tree Park opens on Thursday, Dec. 5. My son and I love and look forward to visiting the lights every year.

The festival will kick off with the park’s traditional Tree Lighting at 5 p.m. on Dec. 5 and seasonal songs. The illumination of the trees will usher in Santa’s arrival and the opening of the Delco Holiday Village, which offers food trucks and a variety of local vendors.

Presented by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, the Holiday Village operates on select evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. A rotating list of vendors offer items that are great for holiday shopping.

As always, please feel free to reach out to my office for help with any state-related issues.

Sincerely,

Rep. Leanne Krueger
