COVID-19 impact on communities of color focus of public hearing Thursday

HARRISBURG, March 9 – State Reps. Donna Bullock and Stephen Kinsey will host a joint hearing of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus and House Democratic Policy Committee this week to explore how communities of color have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bullock, chair of the PLBC, and Kinsey, chair of the PLBC’s subcommittee on Health Equity and Justice will be joined by Policy Committee Chairman Ryan Bizzarro and Democratic Policy Committee members to discuss pandemic recovery efforts.

The Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus was founded in 1973 to serve as an information and advocacy vehicle to advance the interests of African American, Latino and other people of color of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
