- Other unique resources for your pet! (grooming, finding care when experiencing financial hardship, experts on finding lost pets, etc.)
“This is the first time Rep. Howard and I have organized an event like this for our districts,” Shusterman said. “We are excited to offer animal lovers a wide range of resources to help them care for their pets. This event will help reduce costs for pet owners, and hopefully, some furry friends will find their forever homes!”
“As a dog and cat owner and lifelong animal advocate, I am very happy to help others find new pets and care for the ones they already love,” Howard said. “Animals are often a child’s first friend, and they provide us with so much support and kindness throughout our lives, and I am thrilled to foster this connection.”
Those interested in the low-cost vaccine clinic and/or microchip clinic are asked to pre-register through the link here. Select the "Vaccine Clinic Appointment" option, then navigate to Sept. 21 and opt for an appointment slot at Penn State Great Valley.
The event is being held rain or shine. If the weather does not look promising, the event will move indoors.
