Davis returns as Caucus Secretary for 2025-26 term

HARRISBURG, Jan. 7 – State Representative Tina Davis was officially sworn in today for her eighth two-year term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

The swearing-in ceremony marked the beginning of the 2025-2026 legislative session, with all 203 members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives taking the oath of office. Davis said she is proud to be part of the Democratic Majority for a second consecutive term and looks forward to working with her colleagues to continue delivering for the people of Pennsylvania.

In addition to her role as a legislator, Davis was re-elected as the caucus secretary for the Pennsylvania House Democrats in December. She first assumed this leadership position in the 2021-2022 legislative session. As caucus secretary, Davis plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective functioning of the House Democratic Caucus.

"I am honored to continue serving the people of the Bristol-Levittown area and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania," Davis said. "With the support of my colleagues, I will work tirelessly to ensure our work in the House is transparent, effective, and focused on improving the lives of all Pennsylvanians. Together, we will push forward meaningful legislation that creates new opportunities, promotes equity, and strengthens communities."

In addition, Davis expressed her enthusiasm for the election of Speaker Joanna McClinton for the new legislative session. “I am thrilled to announce that Speaker McClinton will continue to lead the House,” Davis said. "Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing vital policies for the commonwealth, and I look forward to working closely with her to continue this important work.

“As we begin this session, our goal is clear: to improve the lives of those we serve. We will continue to fight for progress, opportunity, and justice for every Pennsylvanian.”

Davis represents the 141st District, comprised of Bristol Borough and Bristol Township in Bucks County.
