I am proud to share that I was officially sworn in on Tuesday for my new term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The swearing-in ceremony marked the start of the 2025-2026 legislative session, with 202 members of the House taking the oath of office.
I am honored to continue serving the people of the Bristol-Levittown area and the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to continue making progress for the people of our state.
In addition to my role as a legislator, I was re-elected as the caucus secretary for the Pennsylvania House Democrats. I first took on this leadership position in the 2021-2022 session, and I am committed to supporting the efficient and effective functioning of the House Democratic Caucus in this new term.
As always, my focus will be on delivering transparent, effective work that improves the lives of all Pennsylvanians. I am excited about continuing to push forward meaningful legislation that promotes equity, creates new opportunities, makes housing more affordable and strengthens our communities.
If you have any state-related concerns or issues, please don’t hesitate to contact me or my staff. We are here to help and look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your continued support.

Helping those with disabilities
|
Every five years, the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council is required to create a state plan to guide its work. Creating the plan involves gathering information about the current barriers and concerns faced by individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Pennsylvania. One way it collects information is by seeking input from Pennsylvania residents with developmental disabilities, their families and other involved parties. The PDDC created this survey for that purpose.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. PDDC will use the information from your response to help develop its next state plan. If you have questions or need help completing the survey, please reach out by email to the Council at: ra-pwpaddc@pa.gov or you can call the Council at (717) 787-6057 or 1 (877) 685-4452.

PennDOT to Host ‘REAL ID Day’ on January 13 at Bensalem Driver License Center
|
PennDOT has announced that it will offer special REAL ID service hours at the Bensalem Driver License Center, located at 4201 Neshaminy Blvd., Bensalem, from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, January 13. This is in preparation for the upcoming federal REAL ID enforcement deadline of May 7.
Over 2.5 million Pennsylvanians have already opted into the REAL ID program. While obtaining a REAL ID is optional, beginning May 7, it will be required for the following activities:
- Boarding domestic commercial flights.
- Accessing military bases.
- Entering federal facilities requiring federally acceptable ID.
Federal REAL ID regulations require the following documentation:
- Proof of Identity (e.g., original birth certificate or valid U.S. passport).
- Proof of Social Security Number (e.g., Social Security card, W-2 form, or pay stub).
- Two Proofs of Current PA Address (e.g., unexpired PA driver's license, vehicle registration, or utility bill).
- Proof of Legal Name Changes (if applicable, e.g., marriage certificates or court orders).
More details on the required documents can be found on the PennDOT REAL ID website.
The cost for a first-time REAL ID product is $30, plus the applicable renewal fee. The expiration date of the initial REAL ID will include any remaining time on the customer's existing license, plus an additional four years. Renewal fees will apply after the initial period.
Once the required documents are submitted and fees are paid, customers may receive their REAL ID-compliant product either:
- By mail within 15 days if the application is processed at a Driver License Center.
- Over the counter if applied at one of PennDOT’s 15 REAL ID Centers.
Pennsylvanians who received their first driver's license, learner's permit, or photo ID card after September 1, 2003, may already have their REAL ID documentation on file. They can apply for pre-verification and order their REAL ID online.
For a full list of Driver License Centers, REAL ID Centers, and available services, please visit the PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services website.
