  • #Go100PA: A RENEWABLE FUTURE FOR PENNSYLVANIA
    Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti, Senator Katie Muth, and Representative Chris Rabb will host a press conference with PennEnvironment to discuss the impacts of the climate crisis on the Commonwealth and show their support for Go100PA.   • Pennsylvania Climate Action Plan 2021 – Department of Environmental Protection
    DEP Secretary Patrick McDonnell, DEP Environmental Justice Director Allison Acevedo, Department of Transportation Secretary Yasmin Gramian, Department of Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding, and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn will announce Pennsylvania Climate Action Plan 2021, identifying 18 actions to start now to reduce greenhouse emissions 26 percent by 2025 and 80 percent by 2050 and help slow future climate change.  The plan also lays out action pathways that a range of partners can take to adapt to climate change impacts that are already happening, affecting infrastructure, farms, ecosystems, and the health and safety of all Pennsylvanians, especially those who live in Environmental Justice areas. The agencies will call for statewide action now by all sectors: government, industry, business, and community organizations.
