Co-Chairs of the PA Black Maternal Health Caucus state Reps. Morgan Cephas and Gina H. Curry presented checks for state funding to several organizations for their work in reducing maternal mortality and improving birthing outcomes in the Philadelphia region. This state funding totals nearly $800,000 for three organizations that are coming up with innovative ideas to provide comprehensive physical and mental health care and support to birthing people and babies.
