Tom Masano Holiday Gathering

I had the pleasure of attending the annual Tom Masano Holiday Luncheon, where staff and members of our community came together in fellowship to break bread and enjoy each other’s company. The Masano Family, who have been in business for over 75 years, continue to make a significant impact in our community. Their business, which includes an expansive car dealership and repair shop, is not only beautifully maintained and festive but also environmentally driven, reflecting their commitment to sustainability. The Masano Family’s dedication to giving back in numerous ways is truly inspiring, and their contributions help strengthen and uplift our community.

Connections Work Graduation

I recently had the honor of attending the Connections Work graduation ceremony, where I witnessed an incredible group of individuals celebrate their hard work and achievements. It was inspiring to see their dedication and perseverance as they reached this important milestone. I am so proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make in our community. Congratulations!

Is the State Holding Your Money?

One in 10 Pennsylvania residents has unclaimed property in his or her name in the PA Treasury. The vault is filled with financial assets -- including lost paychecks, abandoned bank accounts and more -- that have been misplaced but are being held by the Treasury for safekeeping. The state receives millions of dollars each year because of simple mistakes like a misspelled name or an out-of-date address.

You can claim your property online at www.PaTreasury.gov/UnclaimedProperty or by calling the Treasury at (800) 222-2046. Staff in my district office will happily assist you in searching the database for unclaimed property to which you may be entitled. There is no cost to search the state database to see if you have unclaimed property.
