Burns, Haluska thank Senior Citizen Informational Fair attendees, vendors

EBENSBURG, Sept. 15 – State Reps. Frank Burns and Gary Haluska joined more than 300 seniors at their Senior Citizen Informational Fair on Friday.

“This year’s free event at Ebensburg’s Young Peoples Community Center helped connect seniors to vital state, county and local programs and benefits they might not have even known existed,” Burns said. “These seniors will be able to live healthier, better lives in the region, thanks in part to the 28 vendors that donated their time and resources.”

“The event allowed Representative Burns and me to hear about issues important to our seniors and their families, and answer any questions they had about state-related services,” Haluska said. “Even though I will be retiring from the state legislature later this year, I still look forward to advocating for seniors in our community after my term ends.”

Any seniors who couldn’t attend the event, but have questions about state-related services, should contact Burns’ office at (814) 472-8021 or Haluska’s office at (814) 674-8939.
