Burns says Farm Show offers best of Pennsylvania agriculture

HARRISBURG, Dec. 19 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria/Somerset, announced that the 97th Pennsylvania Farm Show is set for Jan. 5-12 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Visitors will be able to see 6,000 animals, 10,000 competitive exhibits and 300 commercial exhibitors during the eight-day show.

"The Pennsylvania Farm Show is the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the country," Burns said. "I encourage residents to make the trip to Harrisburg and see what this unique event has to offer."

Burns said this year's theme is "Made in PA. It makes a difference" and will showcase how agriculture is a driving force behind Pennsylvania's economy.

The Farm Show will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 5-12. Admission is free and parking is $10.
