Burns’ annual Kids’ Fair to be held April 5

RSVP by March 28 for this free event with the Easter Bunny

EBENSBURG, March 17 State Rep. Frank Burns will host his annual free Kids’ Fair with the Easter Bunny Saturday, April 5.

Open to children 13 or younger and their guardians, the Kids’ Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Young Peoples Community Center, 300 Prave St.

“It’s just one way I try to give back to the community,” said Burns, D-Cambria. “This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to learn more about some of the state programs available to them and their children, plus kids can visit with the Easter Bunny, who is making a special stop. It’s always fun to see the kids’ faces light up when they see the Easter Bunny!"

Parents, grandparents and guardians are encouraged to bring their cameras for photos.

Burns said in addition to the big bunny, lunch will be provided free for the kids – adults and children older than 13 each may join in for a $5 donation, and representatives from the Pennsylvania State Police, Game Commission and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will be available to provide educational materials. Burns and his staff also will be available to answer questions and provide help with state-related programs.

To RSVP for the Kids’ Fair, the adults should call Burns’ office at 814-472-8021 or 814-536-8400 by March 28.
