Burns invites veterans to Aug. 24 free appreciation lunch

EBENSBURG, July 17 – Again hosting one of his most popular and well-attended annual events, state Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria has scheduled this year’s free spaghetti Veterans Appreciation Lunch for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Jackson Township Fire Hall, 176 Adams Ave., Mineral Point, 15942.

While the meal is free for veterans with a military ID, guests can participate but are asked for a $5 donation. RSVPs are required by Friday, Aug. 16, by phoning Burns’ Ebensburg office at (814) 472-8021.
