Burns is hosting ‘Concealed Carry’ event

Urges gun owners to come learn about firearms rules, regulations

EBENSBURG, Feb. 24 – Knowing that many 72nd Legislative District residents treasure their Second Amendment rights, state Rep. Frank Burns is urging folks to register to attend his Concealed Carry Seminar at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 at Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Co., 176 Adams Ave., Mineral Point.

Burns said law enforcement representatives will speak on the rules and regulations regarding firearm transport and use in Pennsylvania – including primers on concealed carry, the Castle Doctrine, using firearms for personal protection and related legal liabilities.

“As chairman of the Second Amendment Caucus I feel it’s important to know your rights as a law-abiding gun owner,” Burns said. “These events have proven to be extremely educational even for the most experienced firearm users.”

Anyone wishing to attend the Concealed Carry Seminar is asked to call Burns’ Portage office at (814) 736-7339 by Friday, March 4.
