Burns to hold House Democratic Policy Committee hearing on video gaming terminals and skill games Tuesday in Ebensburg

EBENSBURG, Oct. 7 – State Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria, announced today that he will host a House Democratic Policy Committee public hearing on video gaming terminals and skill games in Pennsylvania.  

The hearing will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 at Ebensburg Borough Building, 300 West High St., Ebensburg. The media and public can also watch the livestream at www.pahouse.com/live.

Requested by Burns, the hearing will feature testimony about the lay of the land for VGTs and skill games, including how much revenue could be generated for the state and appropriate regulations. He will be joined by HDPC Chair Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, and other committee members.

Testifiers will include:

  • Jeff Fisher, director, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Pennsylvania State Police.
  • Capt. James Jones, administrative division director in Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Pennsylvania State Police.
  • Rich Teitelbaum, president of Pennsylvania Video Gaming Association and owner of Lendell Vending Inc.
  • Brent Myers, secretary of Pennsylvania Video Gaming Association and owner of Venture Gaming/Pro ATM.
  • Rick Goodling, compliance supervisor, Pace-O-Matic.
  • Paul Myers, owner, Myers Games & Amusements.
