Grant another example of Burns’ ongoing effort to secure funding for community
Rep. Frank Burns March 4, 2020 | 2:13 PM
EBENSBURG, March 4 – As part of his continuing effort to ensure Cambria County receives its fair share of state funding, state Rep. Frank Burns, D-Cambria, today announced the Cambria County Historical Society has been selected to receive a grant.
“As a state representative I work tirelessly on behalf of my communities and the people I represent,” Burns said. “Whether that’s standing up to the status quo and casting difficult votes in Harrisburg or searching for dollars to help fund programs and projects back home, I work hard every day for Cambria County.”
Awarded through the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, the $4,000 grant to the county historical society is to help provide general operating support. Grants are awarded to museums and historical societies across Pennsylvania.
