Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful’s local affiliate, Keep Cambria County Beautiful, is holding special collections of appliances and tires in May.
The low-cost events are sponsored in part by the Department of Environmental Protection and are designed to allow residents to get rid of hard to dispose of items instead of dumping them illegally.
The Keep Cambria County Beautiful appliance and tire collection events are:
8 a.m. – 1 p.m. May 2, Parking lot near Patton football fieldhouse
8 a.m. – 1 p.m. May 9, Cambria Township Municipal
No electronics will be accepted. There is a fee to dispose of the appliances and tires. For details or more information, call 814-472-2120.
