Dog Licensing Events

All dogs three months or older must be licensed by Jan. 1 of each year. Licensing your dog is the law and the most effective way to ensure their safety.

Need help with the licensing process? My office is here to help! I’m teaming up with Montgomery County, PA Montgomery County Treasurer Jason Salus to host two dog licensing events.

The events will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. – noon at my Norriton District Office, 240 W. Germantown Pike in East Norriton Township, and on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. – noon at my Worcester District Office, 2000 Bustard Road, Suite 6 in Worcester Township, PA.

An annual license is $8.70. For seniors and individuals with disabilities, the fee drops to $6.70 annually. A lifetime license is available for $52.70. For seniors and individuals with disabilities, the fee drops to $36.70.

Your dog must be microchipped to qualify for a lifetime license. Owners must bring a Permanent Identification Verification Form signed by either a veterinarian or a veterinarian technician to purchase a lifetime license at this event. That form is available online. All other documentation will be available for applicants at the events.

Your pup doesn’t have to be present to apply for the license, but they’re welcome in our offices!
