Rep Bizzarro secures grant for Millcreek

Bizzarro fought for money to purchase and install playground equipment

ERIE, Dec. 29 – State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro, D-Erie, today announced he’s successfully secured a grant for the Millcreek Education Foundation in the amount of $139,533.

“I will always fight for every dollar that could possibly come from Harrisburg to our region,” Bizzarro said. “Grant money like this is important because it helps communities like Millcreek thrive.”

These grant dollars are highly competitive and go to regions only when elected officials advocate for them. In this case, Bizzarro fought for the grant dollars in Harrisburg and was successful in bringing them back to his district.

The money will be used for the purchase and installation of playground equipment associated with the Community Access Recreational and Environmental Space Project located in Millcreek Township, Erie County.
