State grants fund supports for autistic residents, community arts and higher ed

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 15 – State Rep. La’Tasha D. Mayes today announced nearly $10 million in state grant funding has been awarded to support various construction projects across the 24th Legislative District.
“With these investments from the state, we’re building greater opportunities for both residents and visitors of our communities,” said Mayes, D-Allegheny. “I’m committed to working with my colleagues in the House and Senate to win every possible grant dollar and make our corner of Pittsburgh the best it can be.”
Mayes said the following are some of the grants awarded to the 24th Legislative District:
Mayes said this round of grant funding comes from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects.
