PITTSBURGH, March 15 – State Rep. Nick Pisciottano has been appointed to serve on the board of trustees at the Heinz History Center.

“Helping build upon the legacy of this prestigious institution is a tremendous honor,” Pisciottano said. “I’m excited to play a role in developing the diverse programming offered by the Heinz History Center, which is cherished by communities across southwestern Pennsylvania and attracts tourists from around the globe.”

An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the History Center has been in operation since 1879 and is the largest museum in Pennsylvania. It was recently voted the best history museum in America in a USA Today readers’ poll.
