Mt. Lebanon, Dec. 19 – More than $1 million in state funding has been awarded to support three local stormwater and sewer projects, state Rep. Dan Miller, D-Allegheny, announced Tuesday.
The grants, awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority through its Small Water and Sewer Program, will help rehabilitate and upgrade storm and sanitary sewer systems in Mt. Lebanon, Dormont, and Castle Shannon. Rep. Miller worked with Sens. James Brewster and Wayne Fontana to secure these key grants.
“I’m always happy to work with our local municipalities to help secure state funding for local projects,” said Rep. Miller. “These grants will help offset the local costs of these projects, save local residents money and help move them forward in a timely manner. Whether it’s rehabilitating a local park, improving safety on our streets, or helping find funding for projects like these, my office is always willing to help!”
