McCANDLESS, Aug. 14 – To improve the safety of roads, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Green Light-Go Program has awarded more than $1.6 million to the Town of McCandless, state Rep. Arvind Venkat, D-Allegheny, announced.
“In the Town of McCandless, more than $1.6 million will make our roads safer for the residents and all those driving through the town,” Venkat said. “These grants will assist with improving signal equipment along the town’s roads.”
