Pa. state Rep. Paul Takac joined Executive Dir. David Masur to present Penn Environment’s report: Electric Vehicles Save Money for Government Fleets. The report outlines the environmental benefits and cost savings of replacing the state’s fleet of gasoline and diesel light-duty vehicles with electric vehicles. Takac says with an estimated $360 million savings to taxpayers in the first 10 years, an electric fleet is a no-brainer.
