Township Events for 4/10 Weekly Update

Cheltenham Phishing Attempt
Cheltenham Township has been alerted to a phishing scam impersonating the Township and requesting payment.
Please remember:
- The Township will never ask for wire payments.
- Online payments are only processed through OpenGov or MuniciPay.
- Official emails will always come from @cheltenhampa.gov addresses.
The recent scam email looked like it came from a Township employee but used a non-Township email address and discouraged phone contact. This is a red flag.
If something doesn’t feel right, always call the Township to verify- 215-887-1000. The township is always happy to confirm whether the communication is legitimate.
Stay safe!
