COVID-19 vaccination in Montco

Dear Neighbors,

COVID-19 vaccinations are on everybody’s minds – and the biggest issue right now is we just don’t have enough vaccine doses available – so I wanted to collect some important and hopefully helpful information into one area and share it with you.

First, as I normally share in my regularly scheduled emails, here are the key links where you can find the latest information on COVID-19:

and on COVID-19 vaccinations:

You might also know that, on MLK Day, I hosted a vaccination town hall that featured Montgomery County Commissioner Dr. Val Arkoosh and Rev. Marshall Mitchell from Salem Baptist Church.

From that event, my staff highlighted specific topics about which we frequently hear questions. Here they are, noting the eligibility mentioned in the first video has changed since MLK Day and is reflected in the "phases" graphic found below:

If you live or work in Montgomery County, you can pre-register for your vaccine here in Montco. Or, if you’re seeking somewhere perhaps outside the county (but still in Pennsylvania), you can try to sign up through the PA Department of Health link or visit this regional map that shows facilities providing COVID-19 vaccines.

Just remember, this is – and will continue to be for the foreseeable future – a fluid and ongoing topic of major importance. As always, through my emails and social media posts, I will keep you as updated as possible.

If you have any specific questions, call my office at 215-572-5210 or email me at RepNapoleon@pahouse.net.

In the meantime, stay healthy and stay safe.

In Service,

Napoleon Nelson
