A state budget that benefits Pennsylvanians is approved and don't forget my Job Fair on Thursday!

Dear Neighbors,

I am thrilled to announce that this past weekend, the Pennsylvania House and Senate passed a budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year—and it was signed by Governor Josh Shapiro.

Also, as a reminder, our Job and Resource Fair is this Thursday at Archbishop Wood High School from 12:00PM – 2:00PM.

As always, if you need help with any state-related matter, feel free to reply to this email or call 215-323-6997.

Sincerely,

State Budget Becomes Law

On Sunday, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Senate both passed a bipartisan budget that invests in our communities—without raising taxes at all or touching the Rainy Day Fund. Below are some more details:

I am proud to announce that Centennial School District and Central Bucks School District have both received a much-needed increase in funding. Centennial will receive $211K (a 1.1% increase) and Central Bucks will receive $196K (0.6%).

I am a strong supporter of public education and always fight for more resources for our teachers, our school district, and most importantly, our amazing students.

As a former police officer and firefighter—and as the husband of a retired teacher—I am proud to say that after years of advocacy, our retired teachers, firefighters, and police officers will finally be receiving a cost-of-living adjustment!

At our last Law Enforcement Caucus meeting, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police passionately laid out the reasons for a COLA; and I was proud to advocate, alongside my other caucus members, on their behalf.

It’s important for me to fight to more money in the pockets of our retirees and our selfless public servants.

I always vote to get more money back in the pockets of working families; and I am thrilled to announce that, with this budget, nearly 950,000 working families will be getting back almost $200M.

The Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit is a step in the right direction but know that I will continue to fight to give money back to working and middle-class families.
