Assistance finding Childcare: employees of life-sustaining businesses can use this tool to help find a childcare provider in your area.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has created a COVID-19 guide to assist everyone affected by the pandemic. It includes information on social distancing, universal masking, the phased reopening of PA stages, mental health resources, unemployment, food assistance, changes from PennDOT and resources for small business.

Pennsylvania utility companies have taken steps to assist customers, including a moratorium on shutoffs for all regulated utilities.

Sign up for emergency and weather alerts, health notifications, building alerts and other updates from state and federal agencies.

 

 

What can you do?

  • Cover any coughs or sneezes with your elbow, do not use your hands!
  • Clean surfaces frequently, such as countertops, light switches, cell phones and other frequently touched areas.
  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
  • Wear a face covering or mask when in public places.
  • If you are sick, stay home until you are feeling better.

 

What are the symptoms?

Symptoms of the COVID-19 can include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

The symptoms may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 days after exposure.
