Zabel to host Public Health Series with experts online
DREXEL HILL, Sept. 17 – State Rep. Mike Zabel, D-Delaware, will host a Public Health Series to provide residents with a chance to listen to experts and ask questions during online events. The series is being conducted in conjunction with Child Guidance Resource Centers in Havertown and will feature experts from health organizations about specific topics in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s important for our residents to hear directly from experts from health organizations,” Zabel said. “I’m excited to be able to host an event where residents can interact with the health professionals about what they have witnessed and learned during this health pandemic. We have lost almost 800 lives in Delaware County to COVID, and while this health emergency has affected each of our lives differently, this series still promises a high level of help and guidance.”
Each presentation in the series will cover a different topic. Residents can receive a link to the online series by emailing RepZabel@pahouse.net.
The series includes:
- Public Health During the Time of COVID: Experts will discuss ways residents can focus on their physical health and wellbeing during a pandemic. The online event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
- Mental Health and Wellness During the Time of COVID: Experts will explain how residents can care for their mental health and overcome anxiety during the pandemic. The online event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30.
