Youngblood: Mural Arts project awarded $68,000 grant

HARRISBURG, Feb. 4 – State Rep. Rosita Youngblood, D-Phila., announced today that a Mural Arts project at Wayne Junction has been awarded more than $68,000 in funding through the Multimodal Transportation Fund.


The $68,128 grant will be used to improve the safety and utilization of Wayne Junction, a multimodal hub, through the addition of public art.


“I am happy to see this area get some attention and renovations,” Youngblood said. “This grant will help make Wayne Junction safer and more beautiful, and will hopefully encourage more residents to enjoy the space.”
