O’Mara unanimously re-elected as chairwoman of the House Democratic Caucus’ Southeast Delegation

HARRISBURG, Nov. 21 — State Rep. Jennifer O’Mara will commence her second term as chairwoman of the Pennsylvania House Democrats’ powerful Southeast Delegation.

Earlier this month, O’Mara’s peers unanimously re-elected her as chair following her demonstrated success in advocating for and enacting change that strengthens communities across the region. Under her leadership, the delegation prioritized investments in education, funding for roads, bridges and public transit, investments in health care and maternal health, and policies to help working families.

“I am honored to continue this work alongside such dedicated and passionate colleagues, and I remain committed to fighting for a brighter future for southeast Pennsylvania,” O’Mara said. “I look forward to what the next two years hold, as I’m confident that, together, we can continue to drive meaningful change and deliver results that uplift our communities.”

With O’Mara’s continued guidance, the Southeast Delegation remains committed to advancing policies that improve the quality of life for all Pennsylvanians and ensure that the voices of southeastern communities are heard within the commonwealth’s Capitol.

The Southeast Delegation is the caucus’ largest and fastest-growing delegation, consisting of members from Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. More information about the delegation is available on its website: https://pahouse.com/southeastdelegation.
