Keeping the 202nd District litter-free

Last weekend, I helped organize a major cleanup effort at Tarken Recreation Center. I partnered with the WeLoveYou Foundation to provide them with the supplies they needed to get the job done.

Keeping our communities clean, safe and free of litter is a major priority of mine – from the beautification project I participated in at Tarken in December to my street-cleaning pilot program. It has been proven that a clean community often deters violence and crime.

I will continue to work so that community centers like Tarken are safe spaces for our children and families.
