HARRISBURG , Dec. 11 – State Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Greene/Fayette/Washington, today said House members must work for the greater good and pass a state budget promptly. “The governor, House Democrats, and Republicans and Democrats in the state Senate have all worked together to forge a solution,” Snyder said at a Capitol news conference. “Regrettably, some House Republicans would rather continue to put politics before the people of Pennsylvania.” Snyder, who has not cashed a state paycheck since the start of the budget impasse on July 1, questioned why the House was not in session working on the 2015-16 spending plan. “It should be the season of hope,” Snyder said. “Instead, it’s the season of despair for so many.
