Snyder to host Tele-Town Hall Thursday, Feb. 8

CARMICHAELS, Feb. 2 – State Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Greene/Fayette/Washington, is encouraging residents of the 50th Legislative District to participate in a live Tele-Town Hall meeting she is hosting on Thursday, Feb. 8.

Residents of Snyder’s district will receive an automated phone call at their homes at approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday inviting them to join the meeting. To participate, they simply need to stay on the line.

“This will be a terrific opportunity for community members to discuss some of the topics that matter most to them, from jobs to health care to issues affecting seniors and children,” Snyder said. “I’m looking forward to hearing from my constituents and taking questions on a wide range of subjects. I hope everyone will stay on the line—even if they don’t want to talk—just to listen and learn more about the issues affecting our community."

Snyder said participants will also have a chance to weigh in on poll questions using their touch-tone phones. Anyone who doesn’t have a chance to speak during the Tele-Town Hall will be able to record a question at the end. Questions will be forwarded to Snyder’s office for a future response. Constituents can also email a question before the town hall to townhall@pahouse.net.
