Snyder: $67K grant awarded to create community park in Greene County
CARMICHAELS, April 21 – A total of $67,915 in funding from the Commonwealth Financing Authority will be used to create a much-needed community park in Perry Township, Greene County, state Rep. Pam Snyder announced today.
“Residents in the township have needed a place to host large community events in an efficient way, and the Legion Field project site will install stormwater management systems, which will reduce the muddy areas, and also provide additional parking,” said Snyder, D-Greene/Fayette/Washington. “I’m pleased to see this project move forward, which will provide recreational and community opportunities for residents and visitors alike.”
