MASONTOWN, Sept. 19 – State Rep. Pam Snyder, D-Greene/Fayette/Washington, whose district includes Masontown and who canceled a planned evening event there in the wake of today’s tragedy, issued the following statement in response to the shooting spree at District Justice Dan Shimshock’s office:
"My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by today’s senseless act of violence at the Masontown magistrate's office.
"I have been on scene talking with investigators. A news conference has been scheduled at the Uniontown State Police Barracks at 5 p.m. where we will hopefully learn more details at that time."
