Continuing to Invest in SEPTA

On Nov. 24, Governor Shapiro directed PennDOT to allocate an additional $219.9 M to help SEPTA complete urgent safety repairs. This money will help restore full Regional Rail service, repairs and upgrades, and comply with federal safety orders. These funds mean SEPTA will be able to ensure the current Regional Rail fleet is safe and reliable just in time for holiday travel!

Good News from Harrisburg

The General Assembly is building on the success of Act 1 of 2023, beginning in 2026 patients at average risk or higher for breast cancer will be able to receive supplemental screenings and diagnostic examinations without cost-sharing. Patients can access screening, identify abnormalities earlier, and any necessary follow-up tests can take place. This law will ensure detection of breast cancer in its earliest stages and allow patients to obtain follow up care without a significant financial burden. So don't wait and get checked today!

Community Food Drive

My office's Community Food Drive is still going on! We are collecting Chester County Food Bank's most needed, non-perishable food items. If you would like to help the Chester County Food Bank collect perishable goods during this time, they accept donations at www.chestercountyfoodbank.org/ways-to-give/donate-now/.
