ALLENTOWN, Sept. 2 – State Rep. Peter Schweyer today announced his office will host its monthly veterans outreach program on Sept. 16.
A veteran’s outreach specialist from the American Legion will be in Schweyer’s office – 1501 Lehigh St., Suite 206 – from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16 to discuss programs and services available for veterans and their families, as well as the application process for the different services.
According to Schweyer, the specialist will also be available to discuss pensions, other forms of compensation, educational opportunities, health care and benefits.
Legion membership is not required to take advantage of the help. Those interested in meeting with the adviser must schedule an appointment through Schweyer’s office at 610-791-6270.
