Rep. Samuelson begins ninth term in state House

Rep. Steve Samuelson is sworn in to his ninth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he will continue to serve as Democratic chair of the Aging and Older Adult Services Committee.

The swearing-in ceremony in the House chamber on Jan. 6 marked the beginning of the 199th legislative session. The state constitution mandates that the legislature convene at noon on the first Tuesday of January.
