CANCELED -- Rozzi offers free document shredding opportunity at upcoming event
TEMPLE, Feb. 21 – State Rep. Mark Rozzi, D-Berks, invites residents of his district to a free document shredding event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11 at his constituent service office, 4933 Kutztown Road.
“Shredding is a great way to dispose of paperwork containing your personal information in an environmentally friendly way,” Rozzi said. “Consumer fraud and identity theft are a growing concern in our community, I offer this biannual event to provide people with peace of mind that their personal data is safely disposed of.”
Rozzi is encouraging Berks County residents to bring any documents that contain personal information such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, medical records or banking account numbers to the free event. All documents are shredded on site and disposed of securely by a local professional document disposal company.
There is a 10-box maximum per resident at the event.
For more information about the event, contact Rozzi’s office at 610-921-8921.
