Rabb welcomes $47,305 for pocket park at Carpenter Lane fire station

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 18 – State Rep. Chris Rabb today announced that a state grant of $47,305 was awarded to support plantings, install benches, walkways and a little free library for a new pocket park at the Carpenter Lane Fire Station.

“Investing in green infrastructure is an investment in public health and neighborhood vitality,” said Rabb, D-Phila. “I was proud to advocate for this funding and help ensure that our community benefits from this new gathering space.”

The funding was awarded through the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program.
