Prokopiak announces $1M in tax credits awarded to projects within his district

LEVITTOWN, Oct. 22 – State Rep. Jim Prokopiak announced today that two projects involving his legislative district have been awarded a combined $1 million in tax credits through the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

As a part of the state’s Neighborhood Assistance Program, EZP provides tax credits to businesses that invest in rehabilitating, expanding or improving buildings or land in designated enterprise zones. The investments are intended to support economic development and create or retain jobs.

Local recipients of these credits are:

  1. Constructural Dynamics, Inc. — $500,000: The awarded tax credits will go toward expanding Silvi Materials’ headquarters to support workforce growth, operational expansion, and the creation of new jobs within the Bucks County Enterprise Zone.
  2. ND Sheets — $500,000: Credits will be directed toward supporting a $50 million capital investment to transform the existing ND Sheets Langhorne facility into a state-of-the-art box manufacturing plant.

“Strong communities like ours depend on strategic investments that strengthen neighborhoods, support economic growth and improve quality of life for residents,” Prokopiak said. “These projects will help meet those needs, and I look forward to seeing them develop and deliver meaningful benefits to the community in the months ahead.”
