From the streets to the airwaves, Rep. Brown brings ‘Resource Radio’ to 107.9

Program will focus on state programs and resources for families

PHILADELPHIA, March 12 – Always looking for new and innovative ways to help people in his community and connect them with opportunities, on this Saturday, March 15, state Rep. Amen Brown will take to the Philly airwaves with his “Resource Radio” program.

Airing at 8:30 a.m. on Classix Philly, 107.9, Resource Radio will feature conversations with state and local leaders about programs and benefits that are available to the public in Pennsylvania. Brown said the first episode, airing this weekend, will include a discussion with state Treasurer Stacy Garrity about the state’s Unclaimed Property program.

Each year the state receives hundreds of millions of dollars in unclaimed property, with an estimated one-in-ten Pennsylvanians having unclaimed property.
