Dear Neighbor,
Thanksgiving is this Thursday, so I wanted to extend warm wishes to you and your family for this special day of gratitude. As we’re reminded of the things we have to be grateful for, I’m thankful for the opportunity to represent and serve the best district in Pennsylvania for another two years. The last six years have been some of the most rewarding years in my life and I’m excited to continue working for you in Harrisburg this upcoming legislative session once again. I’m also grateful for all of you who work every day to make our corner of the commonwealth a little brighter. May your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, inspired by savoring the moments that matter most.

Scam Jam in December to Help Seniors
State Sen. Tim Kearney and I are partnering with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities’ Investor Education and Consumer Outreach Office to host a "Scam Jam" event on Friday, Dec. 6 in Springfield.
Unfortunately, bad actors sometimes try to take advantage of our older constituents. This event is to help seniors spot and avoid fraud and scams.
There will be valuable information and tips from trusted organizations that seniors can use to avoid becoming a victim.
If you're a senior or know one who would like to attend, please call (610 )544-6120 to reserve a spot for our event.

Small Business Saturday
This Small Business Saturday let’s celebrate the hardworking entrepreneurs and unique shops that drive our local economy. By shopping small, you’re supporting your neighbors, creating local jobs, and helping our community thrive. From Delco’s charming boutiques to cozy cafes, small businesses make our region unique and vibrant.
Take some time this weekend to explore the amazing small businesses in our area and show them your support. Every purchase, big or small, makes a big difference!

SEPTA Fare Increase and Service Cuts Prevented
Last Friday, I joined my fellow representatives and other elected officials as Gov. Josh Shapiro announced $153 million in federal highway funding will be sent to SEPTA to prevent service cuts and extreme fare hikes. While the PA House of Representatives voted three times to provide sustainable funding to all transit systems across the Commonwealth, the PA Senate failed to act, leading to this moment. I am grateful for the governor’s action to prevent SEPTA's death spiral and look forward to returning to Harrisburg in January to work on a long-term funding solution for our public transit systems.
