McClinton to host energy forums Feb. 14 & 20 to help people cut heating costs
PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 13 – State Rep. Joanna McClinton, D-Phila., is helping her communities stay warm and save money this winter by holding an energy forum from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the 12th District Police Station, 6448 Woodland Ave.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Learn about the resources available to cut down on heating costs;
Apply for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP);
Discover the best ways to weatherize their home; and
Meet with representatives of local utility companies.
McClinton is also scheduled to hold a second energy forum from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the 18th District Police Station, 5510 Pine St.
