McClinton: Southwest town hall meeting a success

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 19 – State Rep. Joanna McClinton, D-Phila./Delaware, announced that her Southwest Town Hall Meeting was an overwhelming success.

McClinton hosted the event with state Reps. Jordan Harris and James Roebuck, both D-Phila. The event had more than 150 residents in attendance and McClinton answered questions surrounding her efforts on criminal justice reform, making voting in Pennsylvania easier, as well as next steps for stop-and-go enforcements.

“As a state legislator, it is my responsibility to keep constituents up-to-date on legislative and policy efforts taking place in Harrisburg and how it relates to them in their neighborhoods,” McClinton said. “This is especially true for our more vulnerable residents. They deserve to have a space where they can air out their concerns and in turn get an honest response.”

McClinton added that she looks forward to hosting future town halls to better gauge the interests of her entire district.
